Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst, Store Operations Location: Corporate Department: Support and Business Operations Job Summary : The Business Intelligence Analyst, Store Operations collaborates with business partners across the organization to design and develop reports/dashboards for all levels of Store Operations, including the Senior Vice President of Store Operations/Chief Operating Officer. Responsible to act as the liaison between the business and IT in order to ensure that new data sets are consistently defined both functionally and technically for accurate reporting. Partners with Store Operations Build/Run team leads to support information needs for digital and other strategic initiatives, as well as tools that help to address operational issues and/or inefficiencies. Principal Duties: Assist in the execution of the Store Operations Modernization Roadmap, the breadth of which includes but is not limited to defining and designing the user experience across all levels of Store Operations leadership, evaluating new capabilities to improve access to reports/dashboards, partnering with Learning and Development to ensure effective change management, designing and building new reports/dashboards that provide better insights, as well as collaborating with cross functional teams to implement governance processes to ensure accurate and consistent reporting. Identify new use cases for current reporting tool (i.e. MicroStrategy) by proactively researching the tool’s capabilities and benchmarking in order to achieve continuous improvement. Work with IT, Finance, and Strategy teams to understand the capabilities and use cases of other tools that Wawa has access to in order to determine if/how any of the tools should be leveraged by Store Operations. Partner with Compensation, Business Compliance, PT Business Partners, and Contact Center Associates to ensure uniform and comprehensive reporting by defining, creating or compiling, and validating metrics used in critical Store Operations reporting Collaborate with Learning & Development to design and develop training materials, critical reporting used to evaluate monthly store performance, strategic initiatives, labor, cash management and off-premise channels (i.e. delivery, curbside, catering). Collaborate with Store Operations Build team managers and project leads (Ops Leads) and the Manager of Store Operations Strategic New Initiatives Implementation and Support to design and build reports for strategic initiatives (i.e. Self Check Out, Off Premise Mobile Coordinator) Simplify efforts. This includes but is not limited to understanding data sets and metrics, liaising requirement definition between IT and business partners, and leading testing efforts. Participate in special cross functional projects that require in depth knowledge or subject matter expertise of data setup, Store Operations processes, and/or Store Operations data needs. Examples include representing the Store Ops perspective in requirement definition, identifying data gaps, and researching processes to understand data sources. Partner with Store Operations Financial Performance Senior Analyst to determine how to operationalize insights that can be accessed across all levels of Store Operations (GM/AM/DOSO/Sr. DOSO). Prepare and present significant report changes (i.e. new, enhancements, etc.) to DOSOs as part of the monthly Operations communication cascade. Attend regional and area-specific meetings as needed to help drive adoption. Partner with the Store Operations Information Lead to continuously evaluate the efficacy of Store Operations reports and dashboards. This includes, but is not limited to, creating a feedback process with the field, identifying usage metrics, and sunsetting reports as appropriate and in accordance with established organizational governance processes.
