Job Duties & Responsibilities

Develop innovative assembly process concepts, layouts, and cycle time analyses. Utilize Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD to create tooling concepts and manufacturing layouts. Lead development of technical and commercial proposals in response to RFQs, RFIs, and engineering changes. Analyze customer specifications and determine optimal manufacturing solutions. Create project scopes, conceptual designs, cost estimates, and commercial proposals. Participate in customer meetings, RFQ reviews, and technical presentations. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Controls, Sales, and Project Management teams. Evaluate production risks and develop creative technical solutions. Support continuous improvement initiatives and business development activities. Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline OR 5+ years of engineering/proposal experience.  3+ years of proposal engineering, estimating, manufacturing, or automation engineering experience. Experience developing technical proposals and customer-facing presentations. Strong understanding of industrial automation, assembly systems, robotics, and manufacturing processes. Proficiency with Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.  Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
