Co-op or Intern, Credits & Incentives (Winter 2027) Waterloo

Your Opportunity Our Waterloo   O ffice is looking for a Co-op or Intern to join the Credits & Incentives team in  Winter 2027  for a four-month term. This role is net new and the successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:   Prepare technical reports that describe the client’s technical (e.g. scientific, engineering) challenges and experiments performed   Work as part of a team of consultants on multiple client engagements/projects   Plan, organize and execute the technical portion of engagements, including interviews of technical personnel and work with financial team members   Conduct industry and tax research to support technical positions   Draft marketing documents and email communications   Support tool and template development using MS Office and Co-Pilot scripts   How do we define success for your role?   You demonstrate BDO's core values through all aspects of your work: Integrity, Respect and Collaboration   You are a quick learner with an inquisitive mind - able to research and comprehend a broad spectrum of technologies, from life sciences to software engineering   You have excellent writing and story-telling skills; you can concisely articulate the innovative work clients performed from a non-business/product perspective (e.g. focused on technologies involved)   You share in an inclusive and engaging work environment that develops, retains & attracts talent   You actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplace   You grow your expertise through learning and professional development.   Preferred E xperience and E ducation   Yo u are working towards a degree o r d iploma in Science & Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Software , IT or related fields   You have incredible communication skills across written, oral and presentation formats   You have experience in summarizing technical concepts into professional language   You have demonstrated collaboration, service excellence and have excellent interpersonal skills   You are outgoing, self-confident and able to achieve individual and team objectives    The expected range of compensation for this role is $48,000 – $60,000 .   Why BDO?
