The S/4 PPDS Consultant plays a critical role in the SCM Deployment transformation stream, supporting Central & EMEA factory planning initiatives under the direction of the PP/DS Lead. This role is responsible for configuring and implementing Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) capabilities within S/4HANA, enabling manufacturing organizations to optimize planning runs, scheduling, and capacity management. In this position, the consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust PPDS configurations, participate in fit-gap workshops, and ensure quality delivery through rigorous testing and documentation. Essential Job Functions Configure PPDS planning runs, heuristics, planning parameters, and scheduling profiles for deployment scope Prepare functional specifications and PPDS configuration documentation Support fit-gap workshops and document PPDS business requirements Conduct unit testing, SIT support, and defect resolution for PPDS processes Assist with PPDS integration testing with IBP and Manufacturing workstreams Support PPDS data migration and cutover activities for planning master data Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or IT SAP PPDS configuration experience with implementation delivery in manufacturing context Knowledge of PPDS heuristics, capacity planning, and scheduling in S/4HANA Experience with PPDS unit testing and integration testing support Good documentation skills and ability to work in offshore/nearshore delivery model Nice to have: SAP PPDS certification IBP-PPDS integration experience Why DXC? / Life at DXC DXC is an employer of choice with strong values, and fosters a culture of inclusion, belonging and corporate citizenship.
