Project Controls Manager

Cash Construction, a MasTec Company, is currently hiring for a Project Controls Manager. The Project Controls Manager is responsible for advanced project controls techniques and analyses to ensure our projects are constructed safely, efficiently, and profitably. Successful candidates may perform all aspects of planning, scheduling, or cost engineering, through knowledge and application of complex project controls principles. Location & Travel Details: This is a traveling position, up to 25% of the time, encompassing work sites in the assigned project area, covering a 90 mile radius, and may include some overnight travel. Manage resource management schedules for all assigned projects Develop, implement, and maintain a scheduling management system. Identify process efficiencies and create and manage new processes to drive efficiencies within project schedules Review progressed schedules against schedule deadlines. Participate in meetings with senior operations management, peers and/or customers. Participate in estimating and bidding projects, contract negotiations, and change order preparation. Identify potential scheduling delays and facilitate remedial action. Track and report on the progress of project activities. Collaborate with Project Managers, team members, and other stakeholders to gather information and update schedules. Works independently on complex assignments to establish the Proposal or Project Baseline Schedule Lead and execute Project Planning and Execution Planning Session Lead and execute Logic Development, Schedule Updates and Forecasting Ensure client Project Controls and Reporting specifications and requirements are met per contract. Supports Project Management with project reporting requirements. Providing training and guidance to project team members on processes and procedures. Developing and maintaining project documentation, including project plans, reports, and status updates. Analyze project data and provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders. Conduct cost and schedule variance analysis and developing corrective actions as necessary. Ensure compliance with project management standards, policies, and procedures.
