In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and launching new features and enhancements. This role is focused on our browse experience and how we can continue to help users find content through intuitive and thoughtful product improvements. Your efforts will help us scale to >100m customers and solidify HBO Max’s spot as a worldwide top 3 streaming company. You will be a key member of the Core Product team responsible for evolving and innovating our streaming services HBO Max and discovery+. The ideal candidate will have strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a passion for WBD’s mission. The ideal candidate will consistently advocate on behalf of the customer, leveraging data, customer feedback, and innovative thinking to deliver the best product features and enhancements.
Your Role
Responsabilities Translate customer needs and business goals into product features, creating value for both stakeholders and customers, and convey our product roadmap in a clear, actionable way to engineering and stakeholders. Proactively ideate on customer browse paths, user feedback, and engagement data to understand how we can improve the HBO Max product. Understand different user contexts and needs, from regional differences to device differences, to strategize how to flex and scale the product to meet those requirements. Coordinate with content, merchandising, marketing, design, engineering, research and analytics as we launch new product features and enhancements. Explore new areas of opportunities to drive value and growth goals forward and coordinate with key stakeholders to prioritize the changes. Monitor existing metrics, develop and propose new metrics, and work across the organization to ensure we are tracking towards KPIs and OKRs. Qualifications & Experience 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in the streaming / media space. Experience supporting development of new feature ideas aimed at growing subscribers and increasing engagement within a product. Demonstrated ability to manage a product roadmap with sound judgment in addressing and resolving challenges and opportunities. Proven track record of launching new features, with a keen understanding on how to evolve the feature post-MVP. Experience managing an A/B test backlog and continually iterating on test ideas to continue to improve the product. Advanced English skills Sound knowledge of JIRA and experience working with Design and Engineering. Exceptional organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail and ability to oversee multiple workstreams. Strong analytical skills and an innovative approach to solving practical problems. Proven experience understanding customer journeys and dedication to putting the customer first. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Self-starter with ability to effectively manage multiple priorities. Showcase pro-active and creative product thinking with interest in understanding user challenges in an evolving environment.
