 You will be a part of the Competitive Architecture Analysis (CAA) team within Whirlpool's Global Technology Center. The CAA team delivers strategic competitive category insights, teardown analytics, and brand architecture analysis to drive product leadership, cost optimization, and competitive advantage across global product platforms. This role in summary 
 As an Analyst - Electronics Cost Modeler, you will lead the development of robust cost models for Electronics and Wiring Harness commodities. You will conduct Strategic Competitive Category and Brand Architecture Analysis that consistently delivers deep technical and cost insights to global platform teams. Working closely with cross-functional partners in Costing, Design, Product Management, and Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS), you will drive competitive benchmarking, identify cost-out opportunities, and establish best-in-class cost estimation practices. Your responsibilities will include 
 Cost Model Development: Responsible for creating, maintaining, and refining detailed cost models for Electronics, PCBAs, RF circuits, and Wiring Harness commodities based on physical teardowns, engineering drawings, and technical specifications. Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration: Drive active communication and close interaction with global partners across Costing, Design, Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS), and Product Management teams. Detailed Cost Estimation: Develop precise cost estimates for wiring harness components and assemblies, including cables, connectors, terminals, and manufacturing processes. Competitive Manufacturing Analysis: Lead teardown analysis, build manufacturing sequence charts, and document competitive teardowns into internal databases to inform internal manufacturing and engineering practices. Architecture Insights & Communication: Partner with the CAA Architecture Analysis team to build communication matrices and deliver actionable insights on competitor design, architecture, and cost drivers. Cost Optimization & VA/VE: Proactively identify design-to-cost and cost-saving opportunities across regions to meet and exceed global platform targets. Project Leadership: Lead and execute multiple complex teardown and cost modeling projects simultaneously, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and stakeholder requirements. Knowledge Management: Develop, standardize, and maintain knowledge documents, guidelines, and reusable tools to streamline global cost estimation workflows. Key Deliverables

 Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics Engineering Experience: 6 - 10 years of relevant
