The Subcontract Administration Sr (SCA Sr) position is an exceptional opportunity for passionate SCAs to expand their skillset from RFP to execution. This role supports i) strategic RFP development such as shaping contract type(s), incentive fee management plans, Performance Based Payment (PBPs) Plans, and CorpDoc terms, ii) negotiating and recommending tactics to definitize, and iii) continuously cross-examining suppliers in execution to ensure on-time delivery and justify improved terms when appropriate.

You have internalized that the Subcontracts org plays a dual leadership role on a program—an initiator to compel the supplier and the program to meet commitments so the supplier can deliver. You are a proactive, curious, exacting, and demanding customer on behalf of your company and apply this approach to suppliers and internal functions alike. A company has very few externally facing roles and as one of these select few your supplier interactions rely on logic and professionalism in even the most high-pressure negotiations. As an SCA Sr you have a strong understanding of compliant contract administration and take ownership of your subcontracts. The work: Work is performed under general direction. As a SCA Sr, you will execute RFP development, source selections, negotiations (T&Cs, Price, NDAs), issue compliant contracts and POs, administrate modifications, and ensure supplier performance by raising questions as you see fit. You will be a part of a Subcontract Management Team (SMT) comprised of other SCAs, SCMs, SPMs, and Engineers supporting the PM profit/loss owner. As an up-and-coming expert you will mentor junior SCAs on proper contract administration. (More than likely, you will also correct PMs, SPMs, and engineers on this too). Basic Qualifications 
 • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience / combined education • 5+ years of experience in Subcontract Administration • Experience in management of >$1M subcontractors and experience in negotiation of subcontractors. • You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to acquire and maintain a US DoD TOP SECRET/SCI with counter-intelligence (CI) Polygraph clearance, to support these government contracts, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.  Capture: Strong understanding of supplier evaluations and selection. Can independently set up domestic and international suppliers to exchange data. Expert on NDAs and working through redlines. Can independently ensure compliance and evaluate medium complexity fixed-type POs. Can manage medium complexity supplier engagement and RFPs. Proposals: Well versed in reviewing ground rules and assumptions, CorpDoc redlines, and recommending counters. Program startup: experience in generating price and cost analyses, assessing technical evals, supporting and presenting pre-neg packages. Negotiations: experience in developing understanding of supplier counterparts, contributing to strategy and
