As a Quality Inspector you will inspect critical power management and control systems used in data centers, utilities, and industrial power applications. Summary
The Quality Inspector II is responsible for performing advanced inspections of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical assemblies to ensure products meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. This role conducts in-process, final, and pre-shipment inspections of complex large form-factor systems, identifies nonconformances, supports root cause investigations, and serves as a key quality resource within the manufacturing environment. Duties and Responsibilities
Perform detailed in-process, final, and pre-shipment inspections of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical assemblies. Verify proper assembly and installation of valves, fittings, hoses, tubing, torque-critical fasteners, electrical connections, wiring, and system components. Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, specifications, BOMs, and quality documentation to determine product acceptance criteria. Select and perform appropriate inspection methods, including first article inspections, sampling plans, and 100% inspections. Identify , document, and communicate defects, nonconformances, and workmanship concerns. Investigate quality issues, determine potential causes, and work with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to support corrective actions. Verify process compliance and ensure products meet customer, engineering, and quality requirements. Conduct final audits and quality verification activities prior to product shipment. Utilize measuring devices, gauges, inspection tools, and manufacturing systems to document inspection results. Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation. Assist in training and supporting Quality Inspector I employees on inspection methods, workmanship standards, and quality procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, safety, and process effectiveness. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Adhere to all company safety, quality, environmental, and security policies and procedures. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum three (3) years of quality inspection, manufacturing, assembly, or related experience required . Visual quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment required . Experience inspecting complex mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical assemblies preferred.
