Emulation Engineer

Project Role : Emulation Engineer Project Role Description : Set up and configure emulation platforms such as Zebu, Veloce, Palladium to validate hardware designs and accelerate software testing before tape-out. Debug issues, run extensive test scenarios, and ensure the emulated system accurately mirrors the final products behavior. Collaborate with design and verification teams to optimize performance and reduce time-to-market for complex chip designs. Must have skills : Emulation Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As an Emulation Engineer, your day involves establishing and fine-tuning emulation platforms to support the validation of hardware designs and expedite software testing prior to final production. You will engage in identifying and resolving issues through comprehensive testing scenarios, ensuring that the emulated environment faithfully represents the behavior of the ultimate product. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is a key aspect of your role, working together to enhance system performance and streamline the development cycle for sophisticated chip designs. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in documenting emulation processes and best practices to support knowledge sharing within the team. - Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing insights to foster their professional growth. - Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with emerging emulation technologies and methodologies. - Collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure alignment of emulation activities with project goals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Emulation. - Strong understanding of hardware validation techniques and emulation platform configuration. - Experience in debugging complex hardware and software interactions within emulated environments. - Ability to design and execute comprehensive test scenarios to verify system behavior. - Familiarity with performance optimization strategies for emulation platforms. - Effective communication skills to collaborate with design and verification teams.
