It is personal to all of us.” – Julie Sweet, Accenture CEO As a team: Insurance Architecture is the dedicated digital architecture and technology team within Accenture’s UK Insurance & Financial Services Industry and Enterprise practice. We are a small, high-impact team of senior architects and technologists who shape and assure complex digital change for some of the UK’s leading insurers, life offices, wealth managers and platform providers, and advising CIOs, CTOs and Chief Architects on major investment plans and technology and platform decisions. Our work spans General Insurance, Life, Pensions & Investments, London Markets, Capital Markets and the wider Financial Services market, supporting clients in areas such as journey to cloud, digital transformation in underwriting and claims, applications of AI and GenAI, and large-scale platform re-platforming. Our operating model is built around six functional pillars – Solution Architecture; Enterprise Architecture & System Design; ML, AI & GenAI; Data Architecture; Cyber Security; and Cloud & Infrastructure. Each team member develops deep expertise in one or more pillars and helps us build capability across the team, enabling us to deploy rapidly onto client engagements with both depth and resilience. In our team you will have the opportunity to: Invent and provide solutions to real-world problems across our Insurance and Financial Services clients, including solutions leveraging the latest technologies including GenAI and agentic AI. Build on and develop your understanding of the Financial Services sector using our industry-proven models and reference architectures. Act as the communication bridge between business and technology teams, helping ensure that solutions are aligned to true business needs. Build trusted advisor relationships with CIO, CTO, Chief Architect and senior business stakeholders. Collaborate with colleagues from across the wider Accenture business – including Industry and Enterprise, Technology, Song, Operations – to create differentiated offerings and enable the best outcomes for our clients. Deliver tangible, transformational change for clients, helping to shape the insurance and financial services industries of the future. As an Enterprise & Solution Architect Manager within Insurance Architecture, you will: Contribute across all six of our functional pillars on client engagements – with a particular focus on Applications, Integration and Data as well as AI, Cloud and Cyber Security – and developing your skills as an SME in one or more areas.
