Work Schedule Standard Office Hours (40/wk) Environmental Conditions Office Job Description GROUP/DIVISION SUMMARY The position is part of the Growth, Protection and Separation (GPS) business unit within the Laboratory Equipment Division. The Product Marketing role will lead the strategic direction, market expansion, and commercial success of assigned products and solutions. The role will work cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams to define product positioning, create go-to-market strategies, and drive profitable growth across key customer segments and regions. Travel expectation will be between 25-50%, depending upon business requirements. This will include both domestic and international travel.
POSITION
SUMMARY The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new and existing products. This role bridges product management, sales, and marketing to ensure successful product launches, effective positioning, and sustained market growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
Own product and new product introduction (NPI) go-to-market strategy, including segmentation, positioning, and demand creation. Develop compelling value propositions, competitive differentiators, and customer-facing messaging that align with business objectives. Define and execute demand generation programs to expand market reach across new regions and customer segments. Collaborate with division-level Marketing Demand Management (MDM) teams to plan and execute integrated campaigns. Partner with sales and channel teams to drive enablement, ensuring effective adoption and execution of go-to-market plans. Track post-launch performance, including adoption rates, win/loss analysis, and customer feedback, to optimize future launches. Leverage insights from customer, competitive, and market data to refine positioning and identify growth opportunities. Drive measurable business impact through marketing-influenced revenue and pipeline growth, customer acquisition and expansion, campaign ROI, and sales enablement effectiveness .
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred. 7+ year’s work experience in product marketing, commercial, business development, or related roles in BioTech/Pharma, Industrial, Academic/Government, or Healthcare sectors Experience in developing and launching new products in a global matrix organization and working with channels, key customers and commercial teams. Experience with forecasting, budgeting and analysis of business situations, driven profiles and pricing analysis. Proven ability to interact effectively with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to achieve significant business objectives. Proven success communicating highly technical/sophisticated information at all levels in an organization and be comfortable owning aggressive targets and goals.
