Position
Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production line. This role ensures that productivity targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The Production Supervisor will also play a vital role in fostering employee engagement and continuous improvement across the plant. Location: Wyong NSW, Australia The Role Managing the day-to-day operations of the line to meet productivity targets including the minimization of downtime, waste and rework as well as addressing anomalies by root cause and direct cause and providing solutions and corrective actions. Oversee production procedures and processes to ensure compliance to quality specifications, GMP, legislative and site standards by maintaining knowledge of operational and procedural standards and ensuring that employees are informed so that standards are maintained, and compliance is achieved. Pre-plan daily tasks prior to shift commencement to allow efficient and timely start-up. Ensure batch sheets, filling sheets, clean out sheets, time sheets, logs and other production records are accurately completed according to GMP and Quality Assurance standards. Identify cost saving/improvement opportunities both within line as well as within the plant. Contributing to the ongoing improvement of employee engagement through regular and consistent communication with team. The Candidate At least 5+ years' experience in production in a continuous manufacturing environment. At least 3 to 5 years' experience leading teams of 10 operators or more. Experience in the use of SAP systems. Demonstrated knowledge of Australian and NSW workplace health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance and safe operations in manufacturing settings. Analytical mindset and effective time management and prioritization skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
