Assembler

FUNCTION: Assemble parts for aerospace products.    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work will include but not limited to: assembly, inspection, packaging, process improvements and training as well as other related activities

Ability to learn the use of bench top equipment, test equipment, hands tools and computers

Ability to assemble small mechanical products – springs, gears, mechanical subassemblies Ability to assembly and test electro and electro-mechanical products

Commitment to customer and business focus in areas such as quality of work, attendance and productivity, overtime may be required

Adherence to company policies such as safety, respect for others, integrity and workplace rules  Willingness to attend additional training, either OJT or off-site training recommended by the management staff to further personal development

High School Diploma or GED Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-marking, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.  Two (2) years prior experience in Production and/or Manufacturing.  Experience in the Manufacturing of Aircraft Instruments or Electronics desired Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-marking, work quality, and to reduce costs.  The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs
