We are helping people with Diabetes lead healthier, happier lives.   As a global leader in diabetes care, Abbott is constantly working to deliver the highest quality products and unwavering support to our customers.  Consistent and accurate glucose monitoring is the foundation of any diabetes management plan, so we’re committed to continuous improvement in the way patients and professionals measure, track and analyze glucose levels.    As Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will lead the analysis and reporting of sales performance for ADC. This role and the team reporting to it will provide leadership oversight, coordination and planning, to execute the financial planning processes and ensure timeliness, accuracy and integrity of financial information. The main responsibilities of this position include (1) analysis of sales in key markets including price/volume, market penetration, market share, product launches, portfolio strategy, patient acquisition and retention, and channel inventory trends; (2) lead development of ADC Plan, Latest Best Estimates (RLBE) and strategic long-range plans (OEM); (3) review and consolidation of actual sales performance; and (4) communication and presentation to senior executive management on sales performance and analytics.   This role is responsible for delivering analytics and business support to enable informed decision making by the executive staff as well as presentation of performance summaries to be shared with senior leaders across the organization. The Manager, FP&A is also a key link to the Commercial and Operations teams within ADC. This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA.

This position requires an individual who proactively identifies business opportunities and challenges, drives fact-based decision making, and delivers actionable financial insights and results. Lead analysis of key ADC performance indicators, including price-volume variances, market penetration, market share by diabetes therapy segment, new product launches, portfolio strategy, patient acquisition and retention, and channel inventory trends Lead, coach, and develop direct reports, fostering a high-performing finance organization through talent development, engagement, and recruitment.
