You play an important role in the department, maintaining systems and performing tasks and activities that support our continuous improvement (CI) processes and culture. You help with data collection, ensure its accuracy, promote CI progress and keep track of the department KPI scorecards. How you will contribute You will: Provide training on CI tools and techniques. You will also help departments follow our established daily management system (DMS) Help teams collect data or extract it from the system to support CI activities and the DMS Facilitate root-cause analysis to address identified losses and departmental KPI scorecard gaps Establish new work standards to sustain improvement Train and qualify colleagues on CI tools and new work standards resulting from CI activities What you will bring A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: CI and high-performance work systems experience Strong facilitation and communication skills to support team discussions on CI activities Application of lean and/or TPM tools in a factory or operations environment Ability to manipulate and validate data in manual and automated systems Mastery of Excel and other data analytics tools Organized and disciplined to support and educate on the DMS process Logical and structured thinking to extract insights from data More about this role What you need to know about this position: The IL6S Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes to maximize performance, eliminate losses, improve capability, and ensure process stability through Identification, Eradication, & Prevention. You will act as a technical problem solver, data-driven analyst, and change agent to ensure sustainable process performance and capability building at front line. What extra ingredients you will bring: Loss Identification Identity and understanding sporadic losses within front line leaders.  Accountable for chronic losses identification through weekly, monthly and quarterly exercise Loss Eradication Drive and teach structured basic problem-solving for sporadic losses. Accountable for structured advance problem-solving for chronical losses. Lead, train and collaborate in Focused Improvement initiatives for productivity commitments Support breakdown analysis with technical expertise PM Loss Prevention Standardize best operating conditions thru develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Implement visual management and control plans. Ensure sustainment through audits and governance. IL6S Pillar Integration and Capability Building Partner with Autonomous Maintenance (AM) to define process control points. Support Planned Maintenance (PM) with technical input. Train operators and supervisors on process fundamentals, Coach teams in structured problem-solving. Develop technical documentation and training materials. Education / Certifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering (Preferably Production/Industrial) Job specific requirements: Bachelor’s degree in: Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering (Preferred: Production / Industrial Engineering) 0-1 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Good knowledge or hands-on exposure to: Lean / TPM / Continuous Improvement tools (e.g., 5S, RCA, Kaizen, CIL, CL, AM/PM) Strong skills in: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power Bi Interest in digitalization and process improvement Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking Good communication skills and ability to work effectively on the shop floor Eager to learn, proactive, and self-driven Travel requirements: None Work schedule: Full-Time
