The Master Data Specialist is responsible for executing and supporting end-to-end Master Data Management processes across assigned master data domains to ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity of master data across business systems. During the transition phase, the role will initially support China market activities while progressively aligning to the future domain-led operating model. Responsibilities : Execute master data creation, maintenance, updates, and validations in accordance with approved procedures and service standards. Ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness of master data across assigned domains and systems. Support assigned domain master data requests, including initial transition activities for China market requirements where applicable. Review complex master data requests and perform detailed validation prior to processing. Support data migration, system testing, and implementation activities related to master data initiatives. Act as the first level SME for operational master data inquiries and issue resolution. Perform data quality monitoring and validation activities across assigned master data domains. Investigate data anomalies, discrepancies, and recurring issues through root cause analysis. Ensure all master data changes comply with governance requirements, standards, and approval workflows. Support compliance with applicable data governance, control, and documentation requirements, including transition-related market requirements where applicable. Support periodic governance reviews, audits, and compliance activities. Escalate unresolved data quality, compliance, or process risks to the Master Data Manager when necessary. Support business users with master data inquiries, requests, and issue resolution across assigned domains. Build effective working relationships with business stakeholders, regional teams, and global MDM teams to support smooth transition and ongoing domain operations. Provide guidance on established master data processes, standards, and requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of master data-related issues. Identify opportunities to improve master data quality, efficiency, and process effectiveness. Support implementation of process harmonization, automation, and standardization initiatives. Contribute to updates of SOPs, work instructions, process documentation, and training materials. Share best practices and support knowledge transfer activities within the MDM organization. Provide guidance and support to Master Data Analysts on process execution and issue resolution. Assist in onboarding and training activities for new team members. Share domain expertise and best practices to strengthen team capability and consistency. Support Managers in driving functional capability development across the team.

About You

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years of experience in Master Data Management, Shared Services, Finance Operations, Supply Chain Operations, or related functions. Experience with master data processes, governance frameworks, and ERP systems. Good understanding of master data domains, including Vendor, Customer, Material, Pricing, BOM, and related data objects. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or other reporting tools is an advantage. Experience supporting transition activities, domain-based master data operations, or working with China stakeholders is an advantage.
