The Royal Caribbean Group’s Workforce Strategy and Movement has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Manager, CAM Air Operations and Process Optimization reporting to the AVP, Crew Acquisition and Movement Operations . This position is onsite and based in Miami, Florida. This position is also not eligible for work authorization sponsorship. Position Summary: The Senior Manager, CAM Air Operations and Process Optimization leads the global Crew Air operation, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient air travel support for shipboard employees across Royal Caribbean Group brands. This leader is responsible for overseeing Team Leads, Supervisors, Senior Analysts, Analysts, and Specialists located in Miami and Manila while ensuring operational excellence, financial stewardship, service delivery, and continuous improvement across the Crew Air function. As the organization continues its transformation through automation and digital capabilities, this role partners with CAM leadership to evolve operational processes, improve performance, and build a scalable operating model. The Senior Manager translates business strategy into operational execution by leveraging analytics, cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, and leadership development to improve cost efficiency, operational performance, workforce productivity, and the overall crew experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operational Leadership
Lead the day-to-day Crew Air operation, ensuring operational continuity and service excellence. Monitor operational performance and ensure service levels and operational KPIs are consistently achieved. Balance operational priorities while supporting shipboard readiness and business objectives. Serve as the primary escalation point for operational issues requiring leadership support. Ensure compliance with travel policies, operational standards, and regulatory requirements.
Operational Performance & Continuous Improvement
Monitor operational trends and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and service delivery. Partner with CAM leadership to improve operational performance across Cost, Operational Performance, Workforce Productivity, and Crew Experience. Utilize data and analytics to identify root causes, trends, risks, and opportunities. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by challenging existing processes and implementing sustainable solutions. Establish meaningful operational reporting and performance reviews that support informed decision-making.
Automation & Process Optimization
Partner with Technology, HRIS, Product, and external vendors to support automation initiatives and future system enhancements. Represent operational requirements during technology implementations and process redesign efforts. Support organizational adoption of new technologies and evolving operating models. Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve operational efficiency.
Financial Stewardship
Partner with Finance and CAM leadership to monitor operational spending and identify cost optimization opportunities. Support forecasting, financial planning, and operational budgeting activities. Drive operational efficiencies while balancing
