About the Role
Grade Level (for internal use): 10 The Team The Private Markets group, within the S&P Global Market Intelligence Software Solutions division, is redefining portfolio monitoring for investment managers across private equity, private credit, venture capital, limited partner, and real estate strategies. As part of the flagship iLEVEL product organization, our products and data services enable these firms to aggregate information from disparate sources, interact with it, analyze the results, and share insights that drive decisions both internally and externally. In today's business environment, the ability to leverage data when making investment and holding decisions is no longer optional. This is an excellent opportunity for a product manager to take on a meaningful, roadmap-owning role on Day 1, within a fast-growing, global financial technology organization. Responsibilities and Impact As a Product Manager, you will lead the product roadmap for a defined area within Private Markets, aligning it to client needs, business priorities, and the broader Private Markets vision. You'll understand end-users' needs inside and out — their comparative importance and the dependencies between them — and translate that understanding into a roadmap the business can execute against. Lead the product roadmap for your product area, building and maintaining a 6–12 month vision grounded in a deep understanding of client data, the marketplace, and the overall Private Markets strategy. Own feature prioritization by collaborating with business leaders and internal stakeholders to balance the art and science of the decision, using a data-driven approach and failing fast when necessary. Define and review user stories and requirements within our SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), ensuring every feature is fully tested and meets the expectations of users and clients before it ships. Lead and coach an agile scrum team, driving the team — and yourself — to continuously inspect, adapt, and improve your collective ability to meet a high standard of delivery and quality. Support cross-functional partners by working closely with Engineering, Testing, User Experience, Marketing, Implementation, and Sales to advise, guide, and align these teams around maximizing business impact. Compensation/Benefits Information S&P Global states the anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,817.00 - $149,719.00. Final base salary will be based on the individual's geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan and additional S&P Global benefits.
