The Logistics Cost Analyst is a member of the Functional Accounting and Analysis team. This role supports the Global Supply Chain function in management of execution and logistics cost, including accounting, planning, reporting, and analysis. This role also provides accounting process stewardship related to recording and reporting of corporate Distribution expenses including freight, warehousing, duties, etc. • Perform necessary duties for the monthly financial close process, such as monitoring results of functional cost centers, projects, and PA assessments and taking proactive steps to ensure accurate financial results. • Coordinate budget process for functional areas of responsibility, including the tasks of labor and cost center planning, PA assessment creation, and business assignment analysis as it relates to Profit and Loss Statement assignments of Distribution expenses. • Ensure consistent application of corporate policies and procedures as they relate to accounting for non-manufacturing direct spend and Distribution expense. • Assist with work within and outside of the work group; be of service to teams in efforts to solve problems and support decision making of functional management teams and co-workers.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required. Certificates and advanced degrees are considered a plus. • 0+ years accounting experience Preferred Skills • Strong verbal and written communication • Analysis, planning, and organization • Advanced spreadsheet capabilities o PowerBI and applications of AI or VBA macro automations are considered a plus • Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset • High level of initiative and good judgment • Ability to work with different personalities, cultures and levels of management
