Software Engineer Lead (FircoSoft/ETL/Sanctions Solutions)

As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.

Summary Design, develop, and support the data platforms that power FircoSoft V6, AML, BSA, and Sanctions solutions. Responsible for database architecture, ETL development, data integration, performance tuning, and cloud-based data solutions while ensuring data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities • Design and optimize databases supporting FircoSoft V6 and financial crimes applications. • Develop ETL processes, APIs, and real-time data integrations. • Ensure data quality, security, governance, and audit readiness. • Tune database performance and troubleshoot production issues. • Support cloud-native data platforms and modernization initiatives. • Partner with Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams to deliver scalable solutions. • Support data migration, onboarding, and platform upgrades. Required Qualifications • 5+ years of Data Engineering, Database Engineering, or DBA experience. • Strong SQL, data modeling, ETL, and database performance tuning expertise. • Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar platforms. • Experience with Azure cloud data services and modern data architectures. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with FircoSoft Continuity V5/V6. • AML, BSA, Sanctions, KYC, or Financial Crimes technology experience. • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, APIs, and event-driven architectures. • Knowledge of sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and regulatory compliance platforms.
