PWM Controller, Associate

Financial Control Group supporting the Asia Private Wealth Management business which provides highly customized financial advice, investment solutions and brokerage services to individuals, families and foundations.     The individual will work with Hong Kong and India Teams with responsibilities including:

Responsibilities include: • Daily P&L Reporting and reconciliation • Day-to-day communication with Business Unit and Operations on monitoring the daily P&L • Month end P&L reconciliation & book close process • Risk and control process covering balance sheet, P&L, SOX requirements and BTR review     • Support business unit initiated projects and platform build enhancements • Work closely with global counterparts to improve reporting strategies surrounding PBT, revenue, expenses and asset reporting • Provide sensitivity analysis and work closely with the business unit on forecasting and budgeting processes • Assist with ad hoc requests Skills Required Required Skill • Excellent written and spoken English • PC Skills: All MS Office Applications • Strong financial analytical skills and working knowledge of MS Excel/Access • Ability to multi-tasks and prioritize responsibilities • Strong communication skills • Details-oriented and well organized • Experience in the firm: more than 3 years experiences • Min 2 years of relevant working experience in Big 4 audit firm or financial institution, with management reporting and product control area experience preferred WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
