The right candidate with demonstrate quick decision making, self-motivation, and responsiveness. The ECT Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care while coordinating with the treating Psychiatrist and Anesthesiologist providing nursing care before, during, and after ECT treatment, provides emergent nursing care in the event of medical crisis/emergency, makes patient & task assignments to LPN’s MHT’s and others while monitoring their performance of duties. The ECT RN provides training & education to staff, patients, families, & others and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice in the ECT Department.
