Standard Job Description You will be the Systems Engineer Stf, Lead Operations and Control Account Manager (CAM) for the F-35 Chief Engineering Organization, responsible for supporting various F-35 Chief Engineering (CE) Teams.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Systems Engineer Sr, you will integrate professionals across engineering to ensure timely contract baseline, performance, and delivery of contractual deliverables. This includes Control Account Management (CAM) responsibilities for multiple control accounts, focusing on labor, material, and other direct costs.
Responsibilities
Work effectively within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to interact with Development, Production, Sustainment, and Customer Programs teams. Ensure budget distribution, provide requirements to appropriate teams, and establish an accurate baseline for execution per the plan. Establish clear communications between finance, planning, Chief Engineering team, LoB engineering team, and program management. Drive appropriate processes, assess issues/risks/opportunities, and plan investigations or mitigations for favorable resolutions. Manage time efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly. Further Information About This Opportunity MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Management, Finance or a related discipline. Minimum 7 years of finance/program experience in the aerospace/defense sector, with at least 3 years as a Control Account Manager on a large, multi‑year program (F‑35 experience highly desirable). Proven expertise in Earned Value Management, cost integration, and baseline management for complex engineering programs. Proficiency with Deltek Cobra/PM Compass, SAP, ADAR, and advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, Power Query). Strong analytical capability to synthesize technical data into clear, action‑oriented financial insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to brief senior leadership, chief engineers, and government customers with confidence. Desired Skills MS in Engineering Management or equivalent preferred. Direct experience supporting the F‑35 Chief Engineer Office or comparable integrated weapons system programs. Advanced data‑visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx). Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring a finance/analytical team. Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles and Systems Design & Analysis coursework. Certifications such as Earned Value Professional (EVP) or Project Management Professional (PMP). Active DoD Secret clearance (or ability to obtain) and eligibility for higher clearance levels as required.
