Job Purpose
Member of an associate team with the responsibility for providing planning, technical direction, operation improvements, and operator support associated with the manufacturing, rework, and repair of gas turbine engine components and assemblies.
Key Accountabilities
• Provide manufacturing engineering support on supplied parts, in house manufactured parts, design requirements, manufacturing process, and finished parts
• Support and create manufacturing plans from design specifications to meet quality requirements. Ensure plans are audit ready
• Develop programs/methods to optimize producibility, reduce cycle time, manufacturing losses & overall shop cost
• Track manufacturing discrepancy performance and provide input on process improvements, create counter measures, controls and work instructions
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Educational Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent work experience
Minimum Experience
• Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience
