The Senior Manager, Procurement & Supply Chain Operations - India serves as the senior leader responsible for the strategic leadership, operational oversight, and capability development of KBR's Procurement and Supply Chain organization in India. This position leads a sizable team of procurement, subcontracts, and supply chain professionals , providing direction, coaching, resource management, and professional development to ensure consistent service delivery and operational excellence. The role is accountable for workforce planning, organizational capability growth, stakeholder engagement, client relationship management, and the successful delivery of procurement and supply chain support across multiple business lines and projects. The successful candidate will partner with business leaders, project teams, and key external clients to drive performance, build organizational capability, and ensure the procurement function remains a trusted business partner.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, develop, and optimize a sizable team of procurement, subcontracts, materials management, and supply chain professionals, ensuring effective resource utilization and organizational performance. Provide strategic direction, oversight, coaching, and mentoring to procurement, subcontracts, materials management, and supply chain personnel. Develop workforce strategies, succession plans, and organizational structures that support business growth and operational requirements. Drive capability development initiatives, including training programs, knowledge transfer, professional certification, and career progression plans. Establish a culture of continuous learning, accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence. Ensure appropriate resource allocation and capacity planning to support business demands and project execution requirements. Serve as the primary Procurement and Supply Chain representative for senior leadership, clients, and key stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery and business outcomes. Lead client engagements and executive-level discussions related to procurement and supply chain strategy, performance, and operational readiness. Provide governance and oversight to procurement and supply chain activities, ensuring consistency, compliance, and adherence to corporate policies. Champion functional excellence through standardized processes, best practices, digital solutions, and performance management. Monitor organizational performance, identify capability gaps, and implement improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Support strategic business initiatives, growth opportunities, and organizational transformation programs. Promote a culture of integrity, safety, inclusion, and ethical business conduct across the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline. 20+ years of progressive leadership experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Subcontracts, or Materials Management within a global EPC, engineering, construction, or industrial environment. Demonstrated experience leading large, geographically dispersed organizations of 50 to 100+ professionals. Proven success in talent development, workforce planning, leadership coaching, and organization capability enhancement.
