THE ROLE
The Planner is responsible for forecasting of advanced packaging operations, ensuring demand and supply alignment across wafers. This role partners closely with cross‑functional stakeholders including Engineering, Factory Planning, Supply Planning, and Manufacturing Strategy to support operational readiness, capacity allocation, and scenario‑based decision making. The Planner plays a critical role in translating complex data into actionable plans and driving continuous improvement through analytics, automation, and AI‑enabled solutions. THE PERSON: The candidate must have strong analytical skills, be good with numbers, meticulous and with a keen eye for detail to process vast amounts of data within a brief time . Ability to build effective work relationships and engage stakeholders based in different countries to get the required data then consolidate in a sole source for further analysis. Analyze freight spending to identify areas of cost savings, recommend effective shipping routes/service providers, and raise red flags as needed. Freight knowledge, which includes incoterms, shipment process, shipment cost component , service levels, etc. is required . Exceptional time and resource management skills required to meet tight deadlines or urgent projects assigned. A proactive person with positive can-do mentality who can streamline or standardize processes then work towards automation to transform existing manual processes. Independent contributor but is also able to work well in a team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Forecasting & Planning Develop and maintain advanced package demand and starts forecasts to support short‑term execution and long‑term capacity planning Build and manage planning models incorporating wafer constraint Perform multi‑scenario planning (constrained and unconstrained) using multiple demand signals to assess risks and trade‑offs Evaluate impacts of demand volatility, yield changes, and capacity constraints on supply plans Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with Factory Planning, Supply Planning, Wafer, and Wafer Sort teams to align assumptions, inputs, and execution plans Partner with Engineering teams to integrate yield parameters, learning curves, and qualification readiness into planning models Collaborate with Manufacturing Strategy to support high‑level allocation of products across OSATs Communicate plans, risks, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders Data Analysis & Reporting Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities Translate complex planning scenarios into clear, structured insights for decision‑making Summaries with clear narratives and data integrity Continuously validate assumptions and outputs to ensure planning accuracy Process Improvement & Digital Enablement Drive simplification and standardization of planning processes and models Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvement in planning workflows Actively contribute to AI‑enabled and agentic process improvement initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve planning agility Support adoption of advanced planning tools, analytics, and digital solutions PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of experience in semiconductor industry with
