T o assist the Operator and Assistant Operator in the setup & operate when necessary any piece of equipment to run a corrugated box to meet customer specifications SAFETY PROCEDURES: Read and understand SAFETY RULES & HOUSEKEEPING GUIDELINES and receive training in proper operating procedures Receive instructions in the following; Lockout procedures Hearing protection Safety shoes Moving machinery All stop buttons All nip points Conveyor safety Lifting and pushing/pulling Safety guards, gates & chain EQUIPMENT OPERATED: Flexo Folder Gluer equipment Computer input terminal Quality test equipment QUALITY: Perform the following quality checks: 1 st piece dimensional checks 1 st piece print quality checks Random checks during run for dimensions & print Ink color & viscosity 1 st piece visual check – fold box complete If major problem- shut machine down & notify supervisor COMMUNICATION: Push interrupt buttons Verbal Hand signals EDUCATIONAL TRAINING: Ability to read and do basic math Ability to read a tape measure
