About Amazon Leo : Amazon Leo is Amazon's initiative to launch a constellation of low Earth orbit satellites to provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. The Commerce team plays a crucial role in developing and managing the systems that will enable customer acquisition, billing, and overall business operations for this service. Export Control Requirement: This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations Key job responsibilities 1. Drive execution, implementation, development, and testing of Amazon Leo software and tooling 2. Work across programs to track cross-team dependencies, manage operations schedule and requirements 3. Collaborate with engineering leaders to track system-level goals and cross-functional dependencies 4. Create project plans and incremental milestones for Operations, Software, and test infrastructure development 5.
