What Administration contributes to Cardinal Health Administration is responsible for performing a variety of administrative activities in support of their assigned work team. May assist executives in budget preparation, record maintenance, and generating reports regarding operations, personnel changes, etc. Uses company software to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. May design processes to enhance work flow. Serves as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues. Will assist in managing and paying invoices.
Job Summary
The Assistant II, Administration is responsible for providing support to an individual senior leader or small number of senior leaders in their day-to-day office activities. This job manages the day to day activities, schedule and travel arrangement for one or many leaders. The Assistant II, Administration maintains a strong understanding of all relevant Cardinal Health operations and frequently represents the company and related senior leaders internally and externally via written and spoken communications. This job frequently handles confidential business and personal matters and demonstrates discretion and judgement in all interactions. The Assistant II, Administration anticipates the needs of senior leaders and displays the ability to manage multiple tasks at time.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in an administrative, warehouse support, logistics, or customer service role preferred. High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred. Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to collaborate and build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams and business partners. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to professionally interact with employees, customers, and leadership. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred. Ability to analyze information, resolve issues, and support operational processes in a timely manner. Demonstrated customer service mindset with a focus on responsiveness and problem-solving. Ability to work independently while contributing to overall team and operational success.

Coordinate daily administrative and office operations, including managing warehouse supplies, onboarding materials, training resources, and other site support needs. Support warehouse operations by organizing, tracking, and maintaining critical documentation, records, and administrative processes.
