About this role
As a Sr. Electrical Hardware Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for end-to-end hardware development lifecycle across design, validation, and manufacturing for flight-critical avionics systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams - including propulsion, structures, firmware, software, safety, certification, production - to meet the highest standards of safety and reliability. Key job responsibilities - Own product development lifecycle of hardware(s) within the avionics system. - Develop and execute verification and validation test plans, including qualification and compliance against aerospace standards (e.g., DO-160, DO-254). - Bring up EE hardware, validate interfaces, and unblock system integration across flight computer and connected sensor subsystems. - Lead root cause analysis of hardware failures across hardware/software interfaces, develop corrective actions, and implement fixes in production hardware. - Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Reliability (DFR) with fabrication, assembly, and qualification vendors. - Lead manufacturing, in-service, and reliability initiatives for avionics hardware in production.
