Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Coordinador de Cambios de Ingeniería. What you’ll do: Job Summary: The Engineering Change Coordinator will play a critical role in managing Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and ensuring the accurate and timely loading of Bills of Materials (BOMs) into the Mapics system. This position acts as a central point of communication between engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to facilitate smooth transitions and updates to product designs.
Job Responsibilities
1) Engineering Change Management: -Manage, track, and implement Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs). -Coordinate cross-functional reviews and approvals of ECNs, ensuring changes align with company goals and customer requirements. -Maintain detailed records of ECNs and ensure timely communication with stakeholders. 2) Bill of Materials (BOM) Management: -Create, review, and upload BOMs into Mapics with a high degree of accuracy. -Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to validate BOM structures and ensure consistency. -Perform regular audits of BOMs to verify accuracy and address discrepancies promptly. 3) Cross-functional Collaboration : -Serve as the liaison between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure smooth implementation of changes. -Provide training or guidance to team members on ECN processes and tools. 4) Process Improvement: -Identify opportunities to improve ECN workflows and BOM management processes. -Support the development and maintenance of documentation related to ECN and BOM processes. Comply with and adhere to the policies and procedures established in the applicable Management Systems (EQMS, MESH, Authorized Economic Operator (AEO), ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 14001:2015 standards) to ensure compliance with the Management System #LI-KL1 Qualifications: Education level required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering ( mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, manufacturing or similar) Years of experience required: 4-7 years of experiencie in similar roles (manufacturing, engineering, NPI, design etc) Area of expertise: Change orders and BOMs Technical knowledge: Hands-on experience coordinating engineering, product, or process changes. Exposure to manufacturing or engineering operations NPI (New Product Introduction), design, etc. Coordination with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, and Purchasing teams. Experience managing BOMs (Bills of Materials), drawings, specifications, and technical documentation .Experience with PLM systems or formal change control processes. ENOVIA is a plus. Ability to track changes from initial request through implementation.
