Subsidiary Steel Dynamics Overview The Shipping Floater is responsible for a wide variety of job duties including shipping/receiving, housekeeping, packaging, etc.

Provide and maintain a safe work environment for all employees and drivers. Safely and efficiently operate overhead cranes Safely and efficiently operate fork trucks Loading/unloading coils The successful candidate will be able to quickly learn a variety of job tasks and multi-task during the day while providing assistance to other employees and at the same time completing their own job assignments.

A strong desire and ability to work safely Excellent communication and teamwork skills Self-directed, well organized, and motivated Must be driven to maintain a high level of housekeeping Must be detail oriented and be able to complete work accurately Must be willing to train on and learn other jobs in the plant Must represent the company well to customer and contract drivers
