We, at Leggett Dynamics, are searching for a 433A Millwright within our Maintneance Technician team to help support our Automotive business. Rotating Shift s: (10:00pm – 6:30am; 6:30am – 3:00pm; 3:00pm – 11:30pm) Compensation: $45.00/hr License Required: Valid 433A Millwright License Tool allowance: ($1,000 CAD/year) and tool replacement plans ABOUT THE ROLE As a licensed Millwright, you will support the manufacturing equipment & facilities maintenance in our 24-5, automotive parts manufacturing facility. You will play a key role in the repair and maintenance of our equipment to help provide a safe, and effective workplace. This is a USW unionized facility. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Valid 433A Industrial Millwright License 2+ years or more work experience in an Automotive manufacturing facility Mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment experience Basic welding & machining experience. Basic industrial electrical skills Must be able to demonstrate troubleshooting skills Must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
JOB DESCRIPTION
Perform general maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues Perform preventive maintenance and make repair and improvement recommendations Follow all plant safety, LOTO and other policies and procedures Maintain daily log of repairs and of completed preventative maintenance. Completes equipment changeovers in accordance with established standards. Participate in continuous improvement activities. Complete assignments, duties and projects that may be assigned. Capable of working effectively both as a team member and independently. Willing to work rotating shifts with overtime on weekends and holidays as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with industrial automation would be an asset (ie. wire or tube bending equipment, Fanuc robotics, Cognex and/or Keyence vision inspection systems, Engel or Multiplas injection mold machines, electronics/electrical repair. Welding certification Forklift certification Working at heights & elevated platform training Basic industrial electrical skills
