Purpose Document Control lead on a project. Act as main interface between project personnel and client for any document control issues. Ensure that all project documentation is accurately logged, managed and issued via the Electronic Document Management System. It is imperative that each project has an accurate database containing each revision of all documents/drawings issued on a project and capturing all necessary meta-data for each record including every document that is issued to each Company throughout the life of the project. The Role As a Document Controller II with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc. Responsible for performing moderate to complex work assignments involving independent judgment to determine a course of action consistent with established functional and organization's policies and goals. Routinely makes decisions that involve independent judgment to determine a course of action which is consistent with established functional policies and goals covered only by general procedures; Supervision at this level is infrequent and is typically necessary only to understand departmental goals and work objectives. Able to lead and/or train lesser seasoned individuals in daily work assignments and performance oversight. Under limited supervision, plans and conducts and may supervise work of self and others. Has ability to lead project teams, business unit, or department. May participate in cross-functional collaboration. Has no direct or indirect reports, but may take a lead role in project type assignments. Proficiently communicate ideas and concepts, persuading and influencing through participation in the preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations and reports. About You To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes: 2-year Associate / Technical school graduate and 2+ years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Advanced support position, performing assignments that are broad and complex in nature. Advanced understanding of systems, processes and tools related to field.
