Database Administrator

Job Family : Database Administration Travel Required : Up to 10% Clearance Required : Ability to Obtain Public Trust What You Will Do : Administers database environments supporting FMBT interface development, testing, deployment, and operations. Supports database configuration, performance tuning, monitoring, backup and recovery, access controls, environment refreshes, and release support activities. What You Will Need : Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred Bachelors Degree FIVE (5) or more years of database administration experience supporting enterprise applications Experience administering Oracle databases or comparable relational database platforms Experience with database performance tuning, backup and recovery, monitoring, security administration, and access control Experience supporting development, test, staging, and production environments Experience supporting application deployments, troubleshooting, and operational issue resolution Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments What Would Be Nice To Have : Experience supporting Federal IT programs preferred Experience supporting enterprise application implementations Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Agility, GitHub, or similar tools Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience working with cross-functional technical and business stakeholders Momentum Financials/iFAMS or ERP database support experience Experience supporting federal production systems or regulated environment Experience with automation, scripting, cloud-hosted database services, or DevSecOps practices The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$116,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
