Position Summary
The Warehouse Runner plays a key role in supporting concession and premium operations by stocking stands, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring products are readily available during events. Responsibilities include receiving and organizing deliveries, rotating stock, storing inventory in the warehouse, transporting product and equipment, and assisting the concessions and premium team as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining excellent attendance in accordance with company policy. This role pays an hourly rate of $18.78 (per CBA). Benefits as per the union agreement. This position will remain open until November 20, 2026.
About the Venue
The University of Southern California (USC) Athletics encompasses a wide range of sports programs and facilities owned and operated by the University of Southern California. The facilities host various events, including sporting events, concerts, and other special events.
Responsibilities
Responsible for helping set up and stocking all premium spaces, concession stands, and portable locations. Attention to detail, including company standards of inventory control, sanitation, presentation, and quality, is always required. Ensure the cleanliness of all concession stands by removing all trash and recyclables. Responsible for rotating food products during the stocking process to ensure the freshest products are being served to guests. Responsible for the upkeep of the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, organizing storage areas, and cleaning commissary dishes. Requires keeping all storage areas and inventory in neat, organized, and sanitary condition as directed. Deliver items according to requisitions and place inventory in a proper fashion using the FIFO method of rotation (First-In-First-Out). Responsible for maintaining the overall security of all storage areas by ensuring that all areas are properly locked and protected. Assist with monthly inventory as directed. Make note of any inventory that is needed to complete upcoming events.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of foodservice / hospitality warehouse experience; similar venue experience a plus. Food service certification. Flexible work schedule. Must be able to work weekends as needed. Must have the ability to lift heavy objects.
