Job Description
DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW The Transaction Banking & Payments, Finance team is a newly created team which plays a critical role in shaping the finance workstream for the Transaction Banking Value Creation Plan, a high impact and strategically significant project for TD Bank which impacts three segments (CBB, AMCB, and TDS). This role will be accountable for the program-level financial transparency, risk identification, funding envelope governance together with the Project Management Office and benefits realization monitoring. Co-op and Internship opportunities allow you to gain valuable work experience across a number of the businesses at TD. This program is designed to complement your on-the job experience and features: Leadership talks with key Leaders from across the organization Lunch and Learns on topics such as Innovation Diversity and Inclusion and Personal Branding and so much more JOB DESCRIPTION Develop financial planning models that are easy to use, understand and analyze that are dynamic and able to handle ever changing business needs Participate in the development of monthly management reporting on business results, key drivers, and health of the value creation plan investment with drivers-based analytics, insightful and relevant commentary. Assist with analysis of results and broader trends to provide a reasonable view of the future of the business with advice to improve decision making. Proactive in identifying issues, risks, opportunity and recommend actions to senior management. JOB REQUIREMENTS We’re proud to work with a group of diverse colleagues. Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; with the intent of going back to school at the end of your work term (requirement of all co-op/intern positions) You are enrolled or plan on pursuing your CPA designation OR are committed to pursuing a career in Finance Transformation You demonstrate both financial acumen combined with a strong orientation toward curiosity, innovation, and problem-solving Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools Ability to work effectively in teams Strong analytical skills in assessing risk, issues and challenging the status quo ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This position is a 4-month work term and will commence January 4th to April 23rd, 2027.
