Are you passionate about supplier quality and transformation? Join our Commercial team as an SQA Transformation Manager to lead the integration of Kellanova’s Supplier Quality Assurance program into Mars Snacking’s standards, systems, and governance model. You will connect regional and global teams to align supplier qualification, audits, quality systems, master data, and performance management under one integrated SQA framework. This is a temporary position for 18–24 months , based near a Mars site in Mexico , with regular on-site attendance required. Continued employment beyond this period cannot be guaranteed. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
Lead SQA Integration: Develop and execute the roadmap to transition Kellanova’s supplier quality program into Mars Snacking. Standardize Processes: Integrate requirements for supplier qualification, audits, risk assessments, preventive controls, and material governance. Transform the Portfolio: Support the integration of suppliers, materials, quality data, and master data across SAP, Nexus Quality Management, and Salesforce. Drive Supplier Performance: Monitor quality objectives and KPIs to reduce incidents, mitigate risks, and enable continuous improvement. Partner Across the Business: Collaborate with Quality & Food Safety, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, R&D, Commercial, and US teams. Build Capabilities: Provide training and technical guidance to suppliers, SQA resources, and key stakeholders.
Your Recipe for Success
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. 4+ years of experience in Supplier Quality Assurance, quality systems, project management, supply chain, or a related technical area. Experience with supplier audits, qualification, risk assessments, portfolio management, and process improvement. Ability to lead technical workstreams and complex transformation projects using project management or PMO methodologies. Strong influencing, negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Advanced English required; Portuguese is desirable. Experience with master data, integrated R&D systems, risk management, or supplier and material qualification tools is preferred.
