Senior Analyst, Capital Markets – JLL What this job involves: As a Senior Capital Markets Analyst based in Toronto, ON, you'll play a critical role in driving successful commercial real estate transactions from initial underwriting through closing. What your day-to-day will look like: Critically analyze financial data and review property-related documents including budgets, rent rolls, recovery schedules, amortization schedules, and lease documents Build and analyze comprehensive financial models efficiently, utilizing Excel in the underwriting of commercial real estate investment opportunities Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data for input into project-specific deliverables Cultivate new leads and identify investment opportunities using various online market research tools Analyze public policy, planning, and zoning frameworks in select circumstances to assess development potential Prepare and draft compelling proposals and offering materials for new or existing assignments and client pursuits Assist with due diligence and coordinate closing processes for commercial real estate transactions Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields with excellent academic credentials 2+ years of work experience in Finance, Real Estate, Engineering, AI systems, or technology-driven analytical roles with strong quantitative and analytical capabilities Financial analysis and market research experience with demonstrated ability to deliver actionable insights Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate findings into relevant and coherent deliverables Outstanding computer skills and excellent working knowledge in the use of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word software Self-motivating individual who is detail-oriented, possesses strong organizational skills, and can work independently and within a team to meet project deadlines Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure, and effectively manage time and workload Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in commercial real estate analysis and investment underwriting Experience with construction and land financing Experience using AI-powered tools for data analysis, market research, or business intelligence applications Familiarity with graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms) for creating professional marketing materials and presentations Demonstrated ability to leverage AI technology to enhance productivity and analytical capabilities Proficiency in creating visually compelling graphics, infographics, and data visualizations to support client presentations and proposals Previous experience working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment Location: Toronto, Onsite Estimated compensation for this position: 80,000.00 – 85,000.00 CAD per year This
