About this role Viessmann Climate Solutions is looking for an Electronic Assembler in Waterloo (onsite ) who can assemble various electronic products daily and maintain quality and comply with all regulatory compliance and guidelines. This is a 1st shift role . This is a current vacancy for which Carrier/Viessmann is currently hiring.    This role requires regular standing and walking in a production environment, with occasional sitting, bending, reaching, and other postures to access materials and equipment. The position involves frequent hand and finger dexterity, repetitive hand and wrist movements, handling electronic components, preparing wire harnesses and cables, and using tools as required. The Electronic Assembler must be able to visually inspect components, read electrical schematics and drawings, perform quality checks, maintain attention to detail, and safely perform assigned tasks in accordance with production and health and safety requirements. The role may also involve handling and moving materials and finished products, with specific lifting requirements to be confirmed based on the workstation.

Build electrical production items from schematics & drawings, use best practices for efficiencies, accuracy and complete in a timely manner Prepare wire harnesses and cables for production Work close with the production team Use quality assurance guidelines to perform spot-checks and panel testing Monitor continually the inventory levels and report shortages to purchasing department S tay compliant & adhere to health and safety requirements and regulations, and maintain a clean/tidy workspace     Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 1 plus years of experience in building control panels or electronic assembling of products Work in a physical demanding environment.

Electrical Technician Diploma, or equivalent discipline Read electrical schematics and drawings and apply to equipment assembly Operate necessary hand and power tools Self motivated Work independently and in a team in a collaborative cross functional set up Verbal and written English communication skills Attention to details, aptitude for troubleshooting and diagnostic capability Basic computer knowledge Experience in inventory management Analytical thinking, focused and reliable in handling assigned tasks Organizational skills with demonstrated initiative and proactive approach to projects Additional information Must have unrestricted authorization to work in Canada.
