Position
Summary: The Manager of Therapeutic Activities is responsible for developing, directing, administering and coordinating the Therapeutic Activity Program. The Manager of Therapeutic Activities must direct all facets of the Therapeutic Activities Department including guaranteeing quality patient care to each patient, in accordance with quality standards. The Manager of Therapeutic Activities is also responsible for planning and implementing activity services for units and programs, defining and implementing treatment goals as a member of the interdisciplinary team and providing continuous patient care, observation and interaction and role modeling to patients.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Required) Certification, licensure, and/or Board Certification by state and/or national governing body in Art Therapy (Required) Licenses Included: CTRS (recreation therapy), ATR (art therapy),MT-BC (music therapy), OT (occupational therapy) and LAC/LPC (counseling) Related Work Experience: 5-8 years (Required) Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities 1. Knowledge in one or more program disciplines (i.e. art, occupational, recreation, and/or music, expressive, dance therapy). 2. Knowledge of psychiatric care techniques. 3. Knowledge of adolescent and adult program rules and protocols. 4. Excellent leadership skills. 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 6. Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees. 8.
