We've already changed millions of lives and we're ready to change millions more. Our future ambition is to become a leading consumer health technology company while continuing to develop solutions for serious health conditions. We'll get there by constantly reinventing unique biosensing-technology experiences. Though we've come a long way from our small company days, our dreams are bigger than ever. The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us. Meet the team: Join our dynamic manufacturing engineering team at the San Diego Innovation Center of Excellence, where we lead development, scale up, and transfer of products, manufacturing processes, and equipment into operations, with a primary focus on advancing Dexcom Sensor technology. Responsibilities include providing day-to-day technical support for pilot plant processes and products at our San Diego site, build readiness evaluations, and procedural updates. Where you come in: You perform routine inspections of equipment and production areas and report any faults or issues to senior technicians, engineers, or supervisors. You work closely with experienced technicians and engineers to support process improvement initiatives. You perform routine fault detection, SPC monitoring, equipment verifications, inspections, and setup activities. You diagnose process-related issues and implement corrective actions to maintain operational efficiency. You collaborate with engineering teams to implement process improvements and support new product testing activities. You conduct preliminary investigations related to out-of-tolerance (OOT), calibration, and other equipment-related issues, including LCIs and similar investigations. You assist in creating, updating, and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other technical documentation. You troubleshoot and resolve complex machine, equipment, and process-related issues. You lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma. You perform detailed root cause analysis for quality issues, equipment failures, and manufacturing incidents, including SPSe investigations. You support a safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing environment by adhering to quality and safety standards. What makes you successful: You have experience working in a manufacturing environment. You have a solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. You bring strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. You have knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and its application in manufacturing processes. You are able to analyze images and visual indicators to identify defects and interpret failure modes. You can work independently while also collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams. Your communication and interpersonal skills enable you to work effectively with technicians, engineers, and production personnel. You have completed technical certification, specialized training, coursework, or an associate degree in a technical or manufacturing-related field, or possess equivalent experience.
