As a Lead Compensation Advisor, you will serve as a trusted consultant to business leaders and HR partners, lead key compensation and recognition initiatives, and help evolve the tools, resources, and programs that support Freddie Mac's total rewards strategy.   This is an exciting opportunity to make a visible impact across the organization, influence important talent decisions, and help strengthen the effectiveness of our compensation programs in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.     Our Impact: We partner with business leaders and HR partners to design and deliver competitive, market-driven compensation and recognition programs that support Freddie Mac's talent and business objectives .   We provide compensation consulting, market intelligence, and strategic guidance that help attract, retain , and motivate top talent.   We lead enterprise compensation programs, annual compensation processes, and recognition initiatives that support business priorities and employee engagement.   We leverage data, technology, and analytics to continuously improve compensation programs, strengthen decision-making, and enhance stakeholder experiences.

Serve as a trusted compensation consultant to business leaders and HR partners, providing guidance on complex compensation matters and enabling informed talent and pay decisions.   Lead key compensation and recognition initiatives, driving stakeholder engagement, communications, process improvements, and successful implementation.   Develop compensation analyses and recommendations that balance market competitiveness, internal equity, organizational needs, and talent considerations.   Strengthen compensation programs through market intelligence, survey participation, compensation planning activities, and effective program governance.   D evelop compensation communications, manager resources, and decision-support tools that enable consistent and effective compensation practices.   Provide coaching, guidance, and thought partnership to team members, helping build compensation capability, consulting effectiveness, and organizational bench strength.   Partner on the implementation and adoption of compensation technology enhancements, automation opportunities, and process improvements that strengthen program delivery and stakeholder experience.

8–10 years of progressive compensation experience, including compensation advisory , market pricing, program administration, and project leadership.   College degree or equivalent experience required ; advanced degree or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred.   Strong knowledge of base pay, incentives, market data, compensation planning, and related compensation practices.   Experience with Workday Advanced Compensation or equivalent compensation management tools within enterprise HR platforms, coupled with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.   Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence leaders and manage competing priorities.
