As a Systems Engineer II, you will help ensure the stability, scalability, and effectiveness of our Salesforce ecosystem by supporting administration, deployments, integrations, and ongoing platform enhancements. This role is ideal for a Salesforce professional who enjoys solving technical challenges, improving business processes, and partnering across teams to deliver reliable solutions.
What You'll Do
Administer, configure, support, and maintain Salesforce environments, ensuring users have appropriate access and resources to be successful. Manage and execute Salesforce deployments, including validating deployment packages and ensuring rollback and recovery plans are in place. Resolve Salesforce-related issues submitted through internal ticketing systems and partner with stakeholders to troubleshoot complex problems. Maintain Salesforce data integrity, perform sandbox refreshes, and ensure appropriate backup and disaster recovery processes are followed. Review developer code and deployment packages to ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, standards, and procedures. Collaborate with Salesforce administrators, managers, and developers to deliver enhancements and resolve system issues. Participate in Salesforce-related projects, mentor less experienced administrators, and help evaluate new Salesforce technologies and solutions.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Equivalent relevant experience performing the essential functions of this job may substitute for education degree requirements. Generally, equivalent relevant experience is defined as 1 year of experience for 1 year of education and is at the discretion of the hiring manager. 3 years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator. Salesforce.com Certification. Experience with Apex and Visual Force development methods. Experience with Salesforce API. Experience with SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language). Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud applications. Understanding of Salesforce integrations with external systems. Strong technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to serve as a resource for escalated issues and make sound decisions under pressure. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across teams. Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Outlook. Intermediate to
