The work: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Release Management Lead to lead Oracle Cloud quarterly update (QU) testing and release activities across ERP, HCM, SCM, and EPM applications. The ideal candidate will have strong Oracle Cloud testing and release management experience, along with hands-on expertise in Tricentis Tosca automation. This role will be responsible for coordinating release activities, leading test execution efforts, managing small to mid-sized teams, and ensuring successful delivery of Oracle Cloud updates with minimal business disruption. The position requires strong communication skills, technical acumen, and the ability to work closely with business and functional stakeholders throughout the release lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Oracle Cloud quarterly and monthly release management activities from impact assessment through production readiness. Review Oracle release documentation and identify impacts to business processes, integrations, reports, security, and custom configurations. Coordinate release testing activities across functional and technical workstreams. Manage and execute regression testing using Tricentis Tosca automation. Oversee maintenance and enhancement of automated test assets to support ongoing Oracle Cloud updates. Track defects, facilitate issue resolution meetings, and coordinate retesting activities. Provide regular status reporting on testing progress, risks, issues, and release readiness. Partner with business stakeholders to validate test results and confirm critical business processes. Coordinate environment refreshes, test data preparation, and release schedules. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on testing efficiency and automation expansion. Mentor junior testers and release analysts on Oracle release management processes and Tosca best practices. This is a hybrid role in Atlanta, GA and will require three days per week in the office. May also consider qualified candidates in Dallas, TX or Tampa, FL.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of Oracle Cloud testing, release management, or ERP support experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience) Bonus points if you have: 2+ years of experience leading testing or release management teams. Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca automation. Experience supporting Oracle Cloud quarterly updates and regression testing activities. Understanding of Oracle ERP, HCM, SCM, or EPM business processes. Experience with defect management and test management tools. Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
