At Lam, as a Financial Analyst, you will be a trusted advisor to the business and influence sound business decisions based on your expertise in interpreting data, performing analysis, modeling, and understanding financial outlook. You’re in a high visibility role working with internal business partners at all levels and across functions, on challenging and rewarding projects that help shape Lam's financial strategies and decisions for the future. In this role, you will directly contribute to CSBG revenue forecasting, P&L analysis, and business performance reporting for key customers in Taiwan. This role partners closely with Sales, Account Teams, Business Operations, and Finance leadership to provide financial insights, drive forecast accuracy, and support strategic business decisions.
The successful candidate will own quarterly planning cycles, customer-level profitability analysis, forecast reviews, and management reporting for major semiconductor customers What you’ll do
Perform financial forecasting for CSBG Taiwan: Quarterly Reviews, Annual Operating Planning (AOP) Perform forecast reviews, variance analysis, and bridge reporting against prior forecasts and actual results. Perform financial analysis to influence decisions and support corporate initiatives. Prepare QXR materials and executive presentations for Finance and AT Partner with Business Operations to identify and support or drive profitability initiatives and projects. Identify business process improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency. Build trusted business relationships, gain deep understanding of the business, and act as an advisor providing actionable insights from growth opportunities to cost savings. Respond to ad hoc financial analysis requests from business leaders and account teams Who we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or business-related field with 8+ years of experience; or Master’s degree or equivalent certification (MBA, CPA, CFA, CA, CMA, or equivalent) with 6+ years’ experience; or equivalent experience. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, dashboards, and data visualization. Attention to details and demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain business partner relationships at all levels of the organization. Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload; effective multi-tasking skills are vital. Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal. Preferred qualifications
Foundational understanding of US GAAP and India GAAP is a plus. Prior experience within technology, manufacturing, or related industries. Advanced analytical, financial modeling, and reporting skills. SAP and Business Objects experience is highly desirable or demonstrable strong systems skills. Experience in business intelligence (BI) technologies, tools, workday, VBA, and concepts. Ability to collaborate with diverse, cross-functional, and international teams including occasional flexible schedules to accommodate time zones. Our commitment
