Deep expertise in database design principles, normalization, indexing, and query optimization. Proven experience with ETL.  Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake Certified, AWS Certified Database – Specialty, Fabric/Azure Database Administrator Associate). Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and experience with NoSQL databases is a plus. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash), and automation tools. Solid understanding of data security, access controls, and compliance requirements. Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with both business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong experience with cloud database services such as Amazon RDS, Aurora, Azure SQL Database, Google Cloud SQL, or similar. Experience working with containerized environments and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git. Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery configurations. Evidence of serving in a consulting role as a technical team leader. This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Maine or Washington.
