Administrator, Epic Cogito & Report Database

This position is hybrid and will require 3 days on site at one of the following Quest sites: Secaucus, NJ or Schaumburg, IL. Remote: This position can also be 100% remote if not located near a hub within certain criteria. Pay Range: $110,000-145,000, plus yearly bonus. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

As the Epic Cogito Database Administrator within the Infrastructure team, you are accountable for the architecture, performance, security, and day-to-day administration of Quest Diagnostics' Epic reporting database ecosystem. This critical infrastructure role focuses heavily on managing the backend data environments, primarily Epic Clarity and Caboodle, as well as the underlying infrastructure for SlicerDicer. You will serve as the primary technical authority for Cogito infrastructure, ensuring a highly available, optimized, and secure data foundation. A key aspect of this role is maintaining a strong, collaborative partnership with the Cogito Application Team. The Epic Cogito & Reporting Systems Database Administrator is accountable for database health, successful ETL execution, schema management, and architectural capacity planning.
