Together, we’re improving health and improving lives. Labcorp is seeking a Support Services Team Lead er to join our team in Tulsa, OK. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:00pm to 2:30am. Rotating Weekend and Holidays.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in the supervision of the day to day operations Help lead the team in their daily processes and procedures Assist with preparation of laboratory specimens for analysis and testing Oversee routing of specimens to their respective prep areas Encourage process improvements and best practices Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy Resolve any production errors as requested by management Research and resolve any production errors while escalating when necessary Engage in continuous process and service level improvements Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy Responsible for enforcing and managing policies and procedures Perform administrative duties as needed Minimum Qualification: High School Diploma or GED equivalent 3 years or more of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory experience Preferred Qualification: Current or prior Labcorp experience Associates degree 1 year supervisory or leadership experience Additional Job Standards: Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal High level of attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast - paced environment Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position Able to pass a standardized color blindness test All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
